Citrus Financial celebrates a trio of award successes

We’re delighted to share that Citrus Financial has received three significant pieces of recognition across the profession. Celebrating both the strength of our team and the contribution we make to clients, our local communities, and the wider financial planning industry.

Named in the Citywire New Model Adviser Top 100 firms for 2025

To start, Citrus Financial has been included in the Citywire New Model Adviser Top 100 firms for 2025, marking our second year in a row in the list.

Citywire’s assessment uses a point-scoring methodology approved by AKG, looking for evidence of well-qualified teams, robust investment approaches, clear client segmentation, strong use of technology, client education, recruitment, and commitment to professional standards.

We’re proud to be recognised again alongside firms from across the UK who share our focus on high-quality advice and client care.

David Braithwaite shortlisted for the ‘Champion of Advice’ Award

We’re also very proud that David Braithwaite has been shortlisted for the Champion of Advice Award at the 2026 Professional Adviser Awards.

This category highlights individuals who make a meaningful contribution to the financial planning profession, helping to raise awareness of advice, boosting best practice, and supporting clients in understanding the challenges and opportunities they face.

David wouldn’t shout about it himself, so we’re doing it for him. It’s a huge personal achievement and recognises the work he does with clients, his role as the Money Mentor on BBC Radio Kent, and the positive impact he has on the wider profession.

Shortlisted for Adviser Firm of the Year – South East 2026

Adding to an already remarkable few weeks, Citrus Financial has also been shortlisted for Adviser Firm of the Year – South East at the 2026 Professional Adviser Awards. Again, for the second year running.

This award looks for firms that can show the impact of:

  • clear and consistent processes
  • dedication to client needs
  • a commitment to best practice

We’re one of just ten firms in the region to make the finalist list.

A moment to celebrate as a team

These three recognitions reflect the collective effort of everyone at Citrus. Each person plays a part in helping clients feel better off from having met us, and it’s brilliant to see that work acknowledged at a national level.

The Professional Adviser Awards take place in March 2026, and we’ll be keeping everything crossed for both David and the team.
