Citrus Bites – December 2023

For December’s Citrus Bites, Richard Harris is joined by the wonderful Holly Bettles, Mortgage & Protection adviser at Citrus Financial.

Richard takes a look back at 2023. Comparing the economic predictions made at the start of the year with the reality of where we are currently. And of course, looking at that resilient jobs market, and sticky rate of inflation, before considering when the Bank of England may cut the base rate.

Our special guest, Holly Bettles, does the same but casting her expert eye over the mortgage market. Is it all doom and gloom, or are there opportunities for borrowers. Is a quieter market place leading to more competition among lenders? If you’re a first-time buyer, home mover or looking to remortgage please make sure you watch the video.
