Mortgage & Protection Adviser (Employed) – Sevenoaks

We are looking for an experienced Mortgage & Protection Adviser to join our team near Sevenoaks.

Unlike many roles in the mortgage market, this is a fully employed position, offering stability, quality leads and full administrative support. Allowing you to spend your time doing what you do best: helping clients.

With access to an existing client bank, regular introductions from our financial planning team, and a dedicated client services team supporting you, this role provides a fantastic platform to build a successful long-term career.

About the role

You will provide tailored mortgage and protection advice to clients, helping them secure the right solutions for their circumstances while delivering the high standards of service Citrus Financial is known for.

Client meetings may take place face-to-face, online, or by phone, and you will work closely with our advisers and Client Services Team to ensure a smooth and professional client journey.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide mortgage and protection advice tailored to individual client needs
  • Build long-term client relationships and deliver an outstanding experience
  • Conduct client meetings and gather detailed fact finds
  • Prepare meeting notes and supporting documentation
  • Ensure recommendations meet all regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Manage cases through to successful completion
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation
  • Contribute to business growth through referrals and networking
  • Work closely with our Client Services team and fellow advisers

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with clients, values professionalism, and wants to be part of a supportive team environment.

Essential

  • CeMAP qualified (or equivalent)
  • Experience advising on mortgages and protection
  • Strong understanding of the regulated mortgage market
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to compliance

Desirable

  • Proven track record as a Mortgage Broker (typically 3+ years)
  • Experience using CRM systems and mortgage sourcing tools
  • Evidence of business development and growing a client bank
