Karen Gorbutt and Patricia Harris shortlisted for Women In Financial Advice Awards 2026

We’re delighted to share that Karen Gorbutt and Patricia Harris have both been shortlisted at the Women In Financial Advice Awards 2026.

Karen has been shortlisted for Financial Adviser of the Year – South East, while Patricia has been shortlisted for Woman of the Year – Paraplanner.

A fantastic achievement

The Women In Financial Advice Awards, now in their ninth year, celebrate the achievements of women working within the financial advice community and across the wider UK financial services sector.

This year saw a record number of individual nominations, with more than 1,150 women from 450 firms nominated. To be shortlisted from such a strong field is a fantastic achievement and well-deserved recognition for both Karen and Patricia.

Karen joined Citrus Financial in 2023 and was our first female financial adviser. Since then, she has made a huge impact, building strong relationships with clients, supporting colleagues across the business and helping show the important role women play in financial advice.

Patricia (Trish), our Senior Paraplanner, joined Citrus in 2021 and holds the Chartered Financial Planner qualification and is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. She provides vital technical support to our advisers and plays an important role in helping us maintain our high standards across the business.

Good luck for the final

Both Karen and Patricia make a real difference to Citrus Financial, our clients and the wider team. Their shortlisting is a proud moment for everyone at Citrus and a reflection of the care, professionalism and dedication they bring to their roles every day.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in November.

Huge congratulations to Karen and Patricia from everyone at Citrus Financial. We’re incredibly proud of you both.
