A great first step into a career in financial services
Citrus Financial is looking for a friendly, confident and enthusiastic Client Services Administrator to join our team near Sevenoaks.
This role sits right at the heart of our office. You’ll often be the first person our clients speak to, whether that’s welcoming them into the office or answering the phone and helping arrange meetings with our advisers.
Because of that, we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys talking to people and delivering brilliant client service. Someone who brings energy and enthusiasm to their work, enjoys helping others and takes pride in making every interaction positive.
At Citrus Financial we believe clients should always be able to speak to a real person. Someone who is helpful, reassuring and ready to find a solution. Our Client Services team plays a big part in making sure that happens.
For the right person, this role can also be a great starting point for a career in financial services.
About the role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Being the first point of contact for many of our clients, delivering a warm and professional welcome both in person and on the phone
- Answering inbound calls confidently and helpfully, making sure clients feel supported and directed to the right person
- Scheduling client meetings and coordinating adviser diaries
- Welcoming clients to the office and creating a friendly, professional first impression
- Ensuring reception, meeting rooms and the office environment remain tidy, organised and welcoming
- Preparing meeting rooms and refreshments for visiting clients
- Managing incoming calls and emails and directing enquiries to the appropriate team member
- Scheduling client appointments and helping manage adviser diaries
- Receiving and distributing post and deliveries
- Supporting the smooth running of the office by ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels
- Providing administrative support to the team including scanning, filing and preparing correspondence
Who this role could suit
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
For example, it might suit:
- A graduate or A-level leaver looking to start a professional career
- Someone with customer service experience who enjoys speaking with people and solving problems
- A parent returning to work looking for a local role with variety
- Anyone who is confident on the phone and enjoys helping clients
Previous experience in financial services is not required, but you should be able to demonstrate that you are already comfortable delivering great customer service in a previous role, part-time job or work environment. Training will be provided.
Career development
For someone interested in financial services, this role can be an excellent starting point.
You’ll gain first-hand experience of how a professional financial planning firm operates while developing valuable skills in client service, organisation and financial administration.
Over time, the role may develop into more technical responsibilities within the Client Services team, supporting advisers with elements of the financial planning process and building industry knowledge.
Training and development will be provided for the right candidate.
