The Citrus Financial team had a fantastic time supporting Chipstead FC at their annual Presentation Day on Saturday 14th June, and what a day it was!
Kicking things off bright and early at 8:00am, we were on site helping to set up for what turned out to be a sunny, celebratory day of football, fun, and community spirit. The weather was a welcome change from last year’s wind and rain… and we made the most of it!
Keeping Cool at the Bar
Our team volunteered to run the bar, which proved very popular throughout the day. Unsurprisingly, jugs of Pimm’s were the drink of choice in the glorious sunshine as we served plenty of players’ parents and family (plenty of soft drinks were also consumed!).
It was great to spend the day in our signature green branded T-shirts, which made us easy to spot, whether we were setting up, serving drinks, or packing everything away again at 4:00pm. (Check out our photos for proof!)
Meeting the London City Lionesses
A real highlight of the day was meeting the incredible coaches from London City Lionesses, who were there running fun skills sessions for the young players. We even got to pose with their Women’s Championship Trophy! We’ll be cheering on the London City Lionesses as they head into the Women’s Super League next season!.
