Thank you for joining us at The Inheritance Tax Trap event

We were delighted to welcome so many clients and guests to our Inheritance Tax Trap event at Salomons Estate. The turnout was fantastic, and we loved the level of engagement throughout the morning.

Inheritance Tax is a topic many people know they should think about, but often put off because it feels complex or uncomfortable. What made this event so valuable was the number of thoughtful, practical questions raised by attendees. A clear sign that people are keen to understand their options and take control of their planning.

Expert insight and practical discussion

The event was hosted by David Braithwaite, with presentations from Karen Gorbutt and Richard Harris. Together, they explored why Inheritance Tax is firmly back in the spotlight and what families should be thinking about when it comes to planning.

We were also fortunate to have a knowledgeable and engaging panel made up of Jenny Brockman, Craig Brady and Elian Lawrence, who brought real-life experience and clarity to the discussion. Their insights helped translate technical rules into practical considerations that people could relate to.

A big thank you

We’d also like to thank Hollie Gregory and her team for taking such great care of everyone on the day. The venue, service and food all helped create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, which made it easier for attendees to ask questions and join the conversation.

What’s next?

We hope everyone who attended found the session helpful, reassuring and informative. Leaving with a clearer understanding of why early Inheritance Tax planning matters, and what steps might be worth exploring next.

If you attended the event and would like to continue the conversation, or if you couldn’t make it but want to understand how Inheritance Tax could affect your family, please get in touch. An initial conversation can often bring far more clarity than people expect.
